| " Although I use Microsoft Outlook I found that
the task tracking in your software has a better view and layout than Outlook. I like
the way that icons can be used for different categories, and the different colours
that are used in the main task list make it easier to get an overall
picture of outstanding issues." |

Best way of organizing the day properly
|
Many people use a to-do list to help organize their day. While it is true that any to-do list is better than having none, there is a "best way" to use to-do lists to maximize your productivity. Most people put either too little or too much on their to-do list. If you don't put all the tasks you need to accomplish during a day to your list then you are not really organizing yourself and the list will be useless. If you put too much, then just looking through you list may overwhelm you. The solution of this problem is to learn how to organize your to-do list properly. Here are several tips that can help you in organizing your to-do list: |
|
Always prepare your list at the end of the day. If you prepare to do list in advance, then it will be easier to accomplish the tasks or goals the next day.
Start by reviewing completed tasks of the day and ask yourself what you achieved and whether or not those achievements took you a step closer to your goal.
Think about the things that you have to do the next day and make sure that you include them in the list.
Read your list and see how many of those things you can delegate to someone else.
Select six most important tasks and place them in the order of priority on your list.
Start each day by reading over the list that you prepared the day before.
Focus on achieving 5-6 tasks during the day. As you complete each task mark it off.
Start the process again at the end of the day. If you have any items left in your list make sure that they will be on the top priority on your next day list. |
| Following these tips you will learn how to organize your to do list properly. But it is also very important to find a tool in which you can keep your goals and tasks. Such tool is VIP Organizer. It is professional tool for planning and tracking your tasks and goals. It allows you to create task list, set priorities, filter your tasks by date, completion and status, set recurrence tasks and set a reminder.
