Let your dreams become goals

How to set goals? People often mix goals with their dreams and wishes. When they don't come true people get upset because they think they don't reach their goals. Your dream can become your goal, however it should have all or some of the following features:

• Your goals should be clear. If you say: 'I want to be reach!' is too general, but if you say: 'I want to earn 1 million a year and already counted how much work you need to do to make it real', is much better.
• Your goals should be realistic. If you want to become a father and you are 70 years old, maybe it would be better to focus on raising your grandchildren.
• Your goals should be written or listed with help of special software, and reviewed as often as possible.
• Your goals should be measurable. How will you know you achieve them?
• Goals should motivate you. Think about advantages you can get when accomplish them. Don't forget to reward yourself when you have results.
• If you have big goals break them down to smaller parts and achieve them step by step.
• Set deadlines to each of your goals. Goals without deadlines are dreams.
• Sometimes it is difficult to start, but when you start, it is already the half way to finish
