| " Although I use Microsoft Outlook I found that
the task tracking in your software has a better view and layout than Outlook. I like
the way that icons can be used for different categories, and the different colours
that are used in the main task list make it easier to get an overall
picture of outstanding issues." |

Managing a to do list
|
Many people use to do lists. But sometimes people face with difficulty to manage them. That happens because people use old and wrong methods of using to do list or the traditional approach is not for them. Here are several tips how to make your to do list productive and easy to manage:
|
- Some people create large to do lists with big amount of items which they must complete during a day. And this is the most common mistake. Your daily to do list must include 6-8 items, or you will feel yourself overload and don't complete all the tasks anyway.
- Put the things that you will actually have time to do in your to do list. That must also include all interruptions that happen every day. This is crucial. As you will keep your total work-load under control.
- Don't name your tasks with big titles.
- Prioritize your tasks by importance and urgency.
- After completing task, tick it off.
- Don't forget to look through your notes from the previous week or day, as it is possible you need to add some tasks from the previous week which weren't completed. So the task that yesterday was number 6 will be number 1 tomorrow
|
These tips and VIP Organizer can help you in making use of your to do list. It allows you to create a task list, in which you can plan your tasks and projects. You can set priorities and status for each of your tasks, add notes, set a reminder and receive notifications about the tasks you need to complete first. So you will always remember about important and less important tasks and never face with difficulties you faced before using usual to do list.
