Question about e-mail

I have VIP Organizer (not the team To DO).

Why is there an option to setup the e-mail server details.

Can this be used for anything, or is it just using shared options with the To Do Team List.

E-mail option in VIP Organizer works together with Reminder. It is used when you want to notify e-mail adressee that a certain task is coming soon. Reminder can send notification to mobile phone or to another computer, for example, when you or somebody else is not available online or uses office computer at work.

There does not seem to be any option for reminder to mobiles in the VIP Team To Do 2.02 401.

To send notification to mobile you should go to Task Dialog -> Reminder and set reminder. In field 'E-mail' you enter your mobile phone email (provided by your mobile operator).

How does this mobile messaging work? Through which servers? Which countries' mobiles does it support? Won't there be any cost extra for sending a SMS to a mobile?

You should ask your mobile provider what your mobile phone e-mail is. It will look like this 380501234567@YOURMIBILEOPERATOR.com
