My main problem is noting down tasks when I am busy doing something else. ACT! 6.0 had a very useful little program that sat in the system tray so that whenever the window was active, whateve you typed was added as a new 'task' or 'to do' item.

If there was some way of implementing this it would be a great help. Just typing something and it gets added as an uncategorised (or unassigned) task.

Thank you for suggestion. Our products also allow quick adding tasks even when the application is minimized. Press CTRL + ALT + A and the task dialog will appear whatever program you are using at the moment. Just enter the Task title and click 'ok'. The task will be added to the list.

Seriously, could it be quicker than that? Ideally after adding the task I'd like to juct click 'Return' to 'OK' it (rather than having to use the mouse) and then just hit 'Return ' again to enter a new one. But I suppose all your other users are used to entering tasks your original way.

Could you have 2 different 'modes' like a standard mode for current users and a 'quick add' mode for users that need to enter multiple tasks very quickly?

You don't have to click on 'ok' button. You can press CTRL + Enter. As for the quiclk entering multiple tasks, we can do the following: a button and hot key for adding the curent task to the list and opening a task dialog box for another task. Will that work for you?
