It would be very useful when a task has files hyperlinked to it if there was an option to attach the files to the e-mail sent when the task was e-mailed to the resource.

It's a good point. If this doesn't cause any problems when the attachment is big, we will search for possibility for adding this feature.

I appreciate that some files may exceed the maximum size of allowable attachments (depending on the mail server of the user).
Maybe it is possible for a window to open before sending the e-mail to ask if the attachment should be included or not.
