Simple yet Featured Project Tracking System

Project management is not just to plan and implement but also to track and measure. Tracking targets you at observing the content and performance of your project to help you understand whether your team pursues the planned goals and objectives. A simple yet featured project tracking system enables you to observe activities, monitor schedule compliance, log billable and non-billable hours, measure performance, and use analytics for reporting.

Observe Tasks and Activities

You can start your project tracking with observing tasks and activities. Simple tasks, rather than the entire project, are easier to track and manage. A project tracking system lets you view individual todo list and group assignments. The main aspect you need to focus on is whether a given task or activity is being done as planned.

To help you take the right focus, CentriQS lets you track tasks and sub-tasks against a range of properties, including State, Due Date, Deviation, and Predecessors. State tells if a task is created, in progress or closed. Due Date allows observing the desired completion date and comparing it with the current date. Deviation gives an idea of whether the task is going to be done on, behind or ahead of schedule. And the Predecessors property shows if the task is unblocked and available for editing, depending on the state of its predecessor(s).

A schedule complies with a project's goals and objectives when all items on it are done in alignment with the project's time management plan, which defines expected durations and time frames. Schedule compliance is a good indicator of whether the team follows the prescribed timeline and what needs to be done to correct current bottlenecks and avert delays in the future.

CentriQS lets you track tasks and appointments added on your project schedule. Overdue items are highlighted with red, so you can easily find places where the schedule gets in trouble. Automatic notifications keep you informed of overdue tasks and latest updates. You can easily re-schedule team assignments by using drag'n'drop functionality on the Scheduler. Automatic reminders keep you on the right track with upcoming events and pressing activities.

Log and Track Time

Time tracking within your project enables you to find out on which activities your team members spent their working time. This information helps you understand inefficiencies, calculate total time spent, and log individual time. Also you can record billable and non-billable hours per employee per activity. You create a single timesheet that reports on how much time has spent in total, over what period, on what tasks and by what team members.

CentriQS features the Timer tool that logs the start and end time of tasks, or just their duration. The Time Logs view displays a detailed breakdown of all tasks accomplished throughout the project. You can track the details of every task logged, such as start/finish date, billable hours spent, job rate, assigned users, cost, etc. The project tracking system lets you track time-related data in a single database that stores all information on your project.
