GTD planner

GTD planner is a type of software which can be used to cope with famous time management method invented and described by David Allen (Getting Things Done). Actually, any time management software can be called “ GTD planner ” if only it supports the main traits and stages of the David Alian's method:

 

  • Defining purpose – this stage is about answering a question “why do I need to do this?”. As a result of this stage we define what a successful outcome is, we decide where we want to get, and obtain a motivational background.

  • Identify the next steps – the necessary condition of planning is defining the next action following after every previous action, until your goals are achieved (with a help of task planner software you can easily build step-by-step sequences of actions and control the way of their performance).
