Organize your time effectively

   There are only 24 hours a day and for about 8 of them we work, even these 8 hours are not enough to accomplish everything we need to do during a day. The way out, is to know how to organize our time effectively. Here are several rules that can help you in organizing your time effectively:

  • Understand the importance of time. All people realize that time is very important but as a fact, most of us procrastinate minimum 10 minutes an hour and this is half an hour a day, 10 hours a week! So, try to avoid procrastination and interruptions to save your time and use it more productively.
  • Find out the things on which you waste your time. These may be different things, such as: you don't prioritize your tasks and waste your time on unimportant and not urgent tasks, instead of important and urgent tasks. Or you try to accomplish all tasks during a day and as a result feel yourself overwhelmed and stressed without completing all your tasks. So, prioritize your tasks and plan the quantity of tasks (4-5) you need to accomplish during a day and don't waste your time.

  • Delegate. Remember, that you can't do everything by yourself! Don't hesitate to ask someone to help you, delegate some tasks in which you are not professional to your colleagues and you won't feel yourself overwhelming.
  • Use your time effectively. To use your time effectively you need a to-do list. This means you need to find a tool in which you can store all your tasks and plan the quantity of time you need to spend on each of them.
