Process improvement tools

Process improvement tools are instruments helping to analyze and control business processes in a manner allowing detecting and identifying defections, so that they can be rectified, inefficiencies eliminated, and the entire process get improved (become cheaper, faster and better). Here, in this article you can briefly review some process improvement tools:

  • Process improvement log – in organizations that use documented procedures and business processes, it is recommended to conduct special log where people empowered to supervise these business processes can record their observations, adjustments that were added, and time when these actions were applied.
  • Process improvement diagram – different types of charts can be created to service different purposes, for example you can create a flowchart that depicts business process’s map where you can mark its faulty sectors and bottlenecks to investigate and solve.
